Kari Bremnes

Of the north and Europe, open, impressive, personal and melancholic – all of this and more can be said about Kari Bremnes’s music. Music that covers a wide span of emotions and experiences is a trademark of Kari Bremnes’s concerts, moving from light happiness to the colder and darker side of life. Always so close to people and their fate, Kari writes songs that appeal to the mind, heart and whole being. She has written songs for 20 years and has made 13 solo albums. Today Kari has a larger audience than ever before, with great numbers flocking to her concerts in several countries, in addition to record-buyers from across the globe.

Kari Bremnes’s band consists of Helge Norbakken (drums/percussion), Sondre Meisfjord (bass), Hallgrim Bratberg (guitar), Bengt Hanssen (keyboards) and Asle Karstad (sound).
